2nd Annual Feast for the Streets Distributes 500 Turkeys & Produce Boxes to Miami Community

As the holiday season nears, many South Florida families are still feeling hardships from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. So for the 2nd year in a row, Miami-Dade Corrections, High Power Society and SouthPromo.com have teamed up to host the “Feast for the Streets” Turkey Distribution Drive-Thru event on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10AM until supplies last at Gwen Cherry Park located at 7090 NW 22nd Avenue in Miami, FL.

During this year’s event they will be distributing 500 turkeys, produce boxes, reusable/disposable masks, hand sanitizers, and hot meals.

“We are excited to bring this event back to our community for the second year in a row,” says Event Organizer and Public Affairs Manager of Miami-Dade Corrections, Juan Diasgranados. “If nothing else, this past year has really taught us the importance of humanity, altruism, and community. We can only thrive if we not only love ourselves, but love our neighbors as well. As leaders of our community, we are proud to take the charge and ensure that all families in need in our communities are able to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal without worry about their ability to afford a turkey.”
