With COVID-19 numbers ramping up rapidly again, families across the country have been faced with financial hardships that have left them trying to create some sense of normalcy in their households during this holiday season. Seeing the need, Grammy-Nominated recording artist Tory Lanez in partnership with One Umbrella and the Jimeno-Broomfield Foundation teamed up to host the free “Tory Lanez Holiday Toys & Clothing Giveaway” drive-thru event, which will provide South Florida families with over $100,000 worth of free toys and clothing Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 2PM – 5PM at Liberty Tax Service located at 7 North State Road 7, Plantation, FL 33317.
During this event, families will drive up and will receive free toys and clothing for each child in their home. Attendees will also receive free hot meals, as well as their will be rapid COVID testing on-site. All this from the comfort of their car.
“We’re still battling a pandemic that’s left so many people between a rock and a hard place. I’m just happy I can be a blessing to others and help them safely bring some joy back during the holidays,” says Tory Lanez.
With South Florida COVID numbers rising rapidly, the drive-thru portion of the event was created to safely provide needed items to families, while helping to eliminate the spread of the virus.
